HRMinHEI project meeting (Modernisation of Higher Education Institutions through enhancement of Human Resources Management function) was held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the University of Tampere in Finland.

The meeting gathered representatives of the project partners: Agency for Science and Higher Education, Algebra University of Applied Sciences, University of Rijeka, Faculty of Philosophy, Danube Krems University (Austria) and Tampere University (Finland).

There was a discussion about the activity plan by the end of the project and the presentation of project results: overview of recent national policies in regard to HRM in HEIs, report on the organizational diagnostic survey and presentation of the online self-assessment tool for the purpose of a systematic evaluation and benchmarking of HRM at higher education institutions.

This two-year project started in September 2016 and it will last until autumn 2018. The purpose of the project is the strengthening of Human Resources Management in higher education institutions and the development of documents and tools that will be useful not only to partner countries but also to higher education institutions throughout the European Higher Education Area.
