Mina Đorđević – project coordinator
Mina has overall responsibility for the development and delivery of developmental activities within the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE) and the higher education sector. She has been actively participating in the work of ENQA’s Staff Development Group chaired by the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency. Her job role includes work on developing activities related to human resources function enhancement and career guidance services enhancement at higher education institutions as well as within the ASHE. Mina is a graduate of the University of Zagreb (bachelor and master in psychology) and holds a master degree in Contemporary European Studies awarded by the University of Sussex, UK.
Sandra Bezjak – expert on higher education sector
Sandra is an Assistant Director for Higher Education, employed at the Agency for Science and Higher Education since its establishment in 2005. She has been involved in the Bologna reform of study programmes in Croatia carried out in 2005-2007. Following this process, she has been one of the key persons responsible for setting up of the national external quality assurance system and has been in charge of the implementation of the first cycle of the HEI reaccreditation process. Sandra leads and coordinates development and delivery of the new external quality assurance standards and criteria based on the ENQA’s Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESGs) adopted in 2015. Her special interest is promotion of the Croatian Qualification Framework and support to the initiatives linking higher education to the job market and society needs.
Mirjana Gopić – expert on legal affairs
Mirjana is an Assistant Director for Legal Affairs who joined the ASHE from the very beginning of its work. She has been, as a legal expert, responsible for wide remit of operations such as activities in human resources and general affairs, the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications, applications for study programmes in the Republic of Croatia, external evaluation of higher education institutions and scientific organizations, etc.
Đurđica Dragojević – support to the project coordination
Đurđica, in addition to her role as the coordinator for EU funding at the Agency, has worked as a QA expert in several projects connected to the qualification frameworks, and participated in a number of evaluations conducted by the Agency. She is a graduate of the University of Zagreb (Professor of English and Sociology) and the Sociology Master of the University of Lancaster and Polish Academy of Science.
Vlatka Derenčinović – support to the project coordination
Vlatka has been working for ASHE for the last 10 years, administering Tempus Office, as well as a translator and coordinator in different evaluation procedures, and has participated in a number of international projects related to QA in HE.
Željka Plužarić – public relations
Željka joined the Agency for Science and Higher Education in 2014 and is responsible for public affairs and media relations. The focus of her work is development and delivery of communication strategies, direct communication with the media, updating / editing the web and social networks, editing newsletters and publications for the Agency and organizing events for partners. Prior to joining the ASHE, she has gained vast experience in public relations in private sector in the areas of analysing media coverage, providing clients with information about current PR campaigns and promotional opportunities, producing presentations, writing press releases, articles, information for web sites etc. She holds a master in journalism degree from University of Zagreb and diploma from the London School of Public Relations in Zagreb.
